February is here! I LOVE Valentine's Day!
I love decorating my house with "Love"! :)
Making Home Decor pieces has become so much easier since Stampin' Up! started selling the Big Shot and all of the great die cuts that go along with it! When I first started making garlands (like the red one above) I would have to cut around the letters with an exacto knife to add a designer paper. Now, with a simple turn of a handle, I can make quick and easy garlands and home decor pieces with just as much flare so easily!
Garlands are such fun and easy projects for kids to help with too! This garland was part of an after school "Kid's Craft" Class I hosted last February with my kids and their friends.
This garland is a fun gift that I got in the mail from a sweet friend of mine, Liz Adams, last year for Valentine's Day! :) What an easy and practical gift to send and one that makes me think of Liz everytime I pull it out to hang it for Valentine's Day. I am going to use this an my inspiration for a Girl Scout craft that I'm preparing for my friend Linda Rozek's troop as well. :) What a fun little girl project!
Another gift from my BFF Kristen Bryant! :) She used the small pennant die cut to create this sweet garland that I hung above my fridge.
You can never have too much LOVE in the house!

Hi there - it's me again!! What are you preparing for the girl scouts? I have my daisy/brownie joint meeting next week and I would love to have the girls make the garland. Are you cutting out all the pieces and having the girls assemble everything, or are they cutting things with the Big Shot?

Hi Susan! I'm going to cut all the supplies for Linda's troop and then the girls will just assemble. I won't be able to attend the meeting, but will prep and get her the supplies. When is your meeting? Maybe we could pull the same together for you? Or you may have all you need to make up the packets yourself. Call me tomorrow if you want and we can process through it. :)
